One way to easily mark yourself a professional flower farmer who knows their stuff is to use correct harvest and post harvest techniques.

However, while there is plenty of information about how to grow the flowers, and even how to sell the flowers, this area of flower farming is often overlooked.

Proper harvest and post harvest procedures will help to increase vase life, sometimes drastically, as well as keeping your flowers looking fresher for longer.

Nobody wants a reputation for flowers that flop or shatter the day after purchase.

Today we will look at some basic rules that will help all flowers as well as looking at some tools and methods that can help with some trickier flowers.
